Our client is a leading biotechnology research and manufacturing company that are presently looking for an Engineering Technician with a mechanical and electrical background, and experience working in highly regulated industry.
Working Schedule: 07:00-19:00 for 2 day and then 19:00-07:00 for 2 nights then 4 days off.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering work is carried out to the companies EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) standards and cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements. You will deliver all maintenance activities, completing planned and unplanned maintenance- and develop planned maintenance using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance). You will solve technical problems following RCA (Root Cause Analysis) techniques, and support the team initiative to continuously improve engineering systems, processes and the equipment the department maintains.
You will need to have post apprenticeship experience (with a mechanical bias) and an understanding of mechanical production equipment. You will have calibration and instrumentation experience, along with experience in working to GMP standards (preferably in a 'clean room' environment).
